9 Hole Golf Course

The 9 Hole Academy Course provides the ideal venue for beginners and juniors as well as more experienced players who fancy a quick round. It was opened in 2007, a flat park land course with holes ranging from  110 yards to 416 yards.

The course consists of four Par 4's and five Par 3's. 9 holes - 2221 Yards (Par 31).

Everyone is welcome to play on the golf course, all we ask is that each player has a set of golf clubs each, see below for our rules. 

Frequent players can save by joining as a member and receive all the benefits of a fully affiliated golf club.

Each golfer must have a set of clubs in a bag each.

Due to the covid-19 pandemic we no longer hire clubs or trolleys, you must bring your own.  

We don't have any dress code and you don't have to wear golf shoes.

Please observe the rules of golf, let faster players play through, repair any divots or pitch marks you make.  

Preferred Lies are now in force until 31st March 2021 

IMPORTANT WINTER NOTICE - During the winter months we have a hedgehog wheel only policy - golfers can carry their clubs or use hedgehog wheels on their trolleys, these may be purchased or hired at the golf shop.

COVID-19 Rules

Rules to abide by to keep you and our staff safe

• A tee time must be booked in advance, phone 01904 499275 
• The following groupings are allowed to play:
- Individuals playing golf on their own
- Two-balls, three-balls or four-balls comprising of individuals from same or different households.
• Arrive at the course no more than 15 minutes prior to reserved tee time
• Send only 1 person into reception to pay, A face covering must be worn into the reception/shop. 
• Please sanitise your hands when you enter
• Maintain 2m social distance from other golfers or staff at all times.
• Each golfer must have their own set of golf clubs and bag, no sharing allowed! No hire clubs will be available
• All rakes & ball washers and rubbish bins have been removed, keep all rubbish in your golf bag
• Do not touch the flag
• A hole liner is in the cups so balls can be retrieved by handling the ball only.
• Beware of cross contamination. Don’t exchange equipment, food, and drink between players
• Keep to virtual high fives or handshakes only
