For those persons that have completed the beginners golf class or already possess the basics but want to improve all areas of their game. with a few more advanced techniques.

What will be covered?
Refresher of basics - grip, stance, posture & swing
Chip Shots, Bunker play shots, Low Shots, High Shots
Sloping Lies, Awkward Lies
Improve your Putting, reading greens
How to plan your way around a golf course

Alastair is an Advanced PGA Professional with 30 years of coaching experience - including coaching abroad in Germany and Spain.

Alastair has coached all levels of golfer from beginners all the way up to top amateurs and tour professionals.

Using the latest equipment and knowledge gained from tens of thousands of lessons he can get you on track to your best golf. 


PGA Professional Martin Simpson  

Martin has been an integral member of staff here at York Golf Range since 2017, He has been on the coaching staff and providing club fittings for the past three years. Having recently qualified as a PGA Professional he is available for individual and group coaching for golfers of all abilities.
